Adelie Pebbles Therapy's mission is to empower the individuals it serves to feel confident in their every day actions. APT educates and provides the tools necessary for lifelong change using the principles of ABA.
APT's vision is that caregivers and individuals feel capable and in charge of their choices. Our vision is that your choices are made by you and that you guide your treatment.
1. Empowerment: We target the areas most important to YOU. We will provide guidance as needed, but ultimately, treatment is client-led.
2. Competence: We work within the frame of what we know. When faced with a situation we are not competent in, we seek additional education and consultation.
3. Collaboration: Everyone on the team is equal

3. Collaboration: Everyone on the team is equally important and knowledgeable. We collaborate and communicate as a team. Not one person is the expert, all team members are key in treatment.
4. Compassion: Everyone has struggles. We understand some days are harder than others and we are here to provide the support you need. Humans are human for a reason and you are not alone.
The penguin is categorized as an aquatic bird that does not fly. Much like the individuals we work with, we are all part of the human species and despite our differences, we are all the same with different abilities. APT serves individuals with a neurodivergent perspective, represented by the watercolor infinity symbol.
